The more I look at this truck the more I realize how much better it looks since I got it ~3 months ago.

I’d take this lip off and/or replace it. Looks like it’s really falling apart.

Yeah I could probably just take it off. It’s not very expensive for a new one ~$60 but because of the size the shipping kills you. It would probably cost $200 by the time it gets to me up here in Canada.

That color is great.

Hopefully it’s not too important, anyway.

Glad to see another Nova Scotian on here! :D I’m from the South Shore, near Mahone Bay! I’m not a big pick-up fan, but yours looks pretty nice! That Chevy has a cool “used but loved” patina to it. :)

Either way, nice to see another Maritimer here! :) I assumed you came from the Grand Pre, Clare, etc. area of NS when I saw the flag.

Nice city! I took a week long motorcycle trip out to Cape Breton Island to ride the Cabot Trail a few years ago, and rode down the NB side of the Bay of Fundy on my way home, right through Moncton. I need to get back out to the Maritimes someday, whether it’s on two wheels or four.

Yeah it’s a nice place. I miss it since I’ve been in Alberta for the last 10 years and have only been back for 3 weeks since I’ve moved here.

looks good man. that black grill really does set it off.
and i’m not one at all for “murderin,” but maybe a black steel front bumper to match the rear? or even just plastidip. :)
i like your boxes too.

Might just be able to use some fiberglass mat to repair it! Do a couple layers of fiberglass over the hole, sand it down to level it, prime, spray, enjoy.

The grill and the mirrors is what made the biggest difference by far.
Including the boxes I’ve spent about $100.00 on this truck. It’s crazy how much a little bit of paint and a little bit of time goes a LONG LONG way.
-$60 for the 2 boxes
-$10 in bolts to attach the boxes
-$25 in paint
-$5 bucks in sand paper & masking tape

makes you wonder... why are bolts so damn expensive? ;)

I did go all out with allen head bolts so I wouldn’t cut myself on the head if I was careless grabbing something in the boxes and nylock nuts
